Like a butterfly
Speaking of that butterfly… it’s called that because the TV looks like a butterfly opening its wings.
When the television is off or only playing music, the screen is collapsed and the whole thing looks more like a large speaker.
When you turn on the TV, the two fronts fan out like wings.
The fronts consist of processed oak and aluminum or fabric fronts.
After the ‘wings’ are open, the screen rises to the – according to Bang & Olufsen – perfect viewing height.
The television is therefore nicely concealed when you are not using it and if you do feel like watching TV in the evening, you can optimally enjoy image and sound.
